tbh I just wind down the group to the kids who were featured in an episode as the main characters or important side characters. I would include David lovingly but I don’t think he’d be friends with Pip or the other European kids, more so because everybody headcanons him being friends with the backgrounds kids like Brimmy or Douglas. It’s also a matter of how many darker skinned foreign kids there ARE, and how many of the more “main” foreign kids are headcanoned with darker skin complexity. There is also kids that already have their own groups or friends that really don’t need to be in the foreign kids, but could possibly have a good relationship with the people inside the group. Kids like Loogie, the Quintuplets, and Cosette would be included only because of their personalities and portrayal. For example, Cosette and Pip would be friends because they both were in a state of being poor and faced the hardship of living in restless environments. so, in summary, it genuinely depends on headcanons and how important the character was in atleast one episode. It also depends on how they would fit in the group and how they’d do with everybody else.

I’m rlly into Halloween movies so yea but heres hocus pocus and it might not make sense but the thing is I try to mainly make this blog abt anyone BUT the main kids bc we need more appreciation for the other kids so yea but Kenny’s gonna have to be involved..

OKAY SO ESTELLA WOULD BE THE LEADER OBVIOUSLY. Cosette is just there bc she doesn’t rlly have much personality from the show but I’d assume she’s like…idk… and Rebecca is Sarah bc she went boy crazy last couple of minutes in her episode and Sarah is also boy crazy so yea!! I could see it work. They don’t have to be sisters, more like “the South Park witches” instead of smth like the Sanderson sisters.

I had a horrible time figuring out who dani would be but gave up and decided to make Damien her. So since max and dani are siblings, I wouldn’t wanna make Christophe and Damien siblings so I just decided like maybe Damien is some kid Christophe is forced to babysit for Halloween or something. And Gregory’s gonna be Allison because I love gregstophe?? And Gregory’s smart too and uhhh Everyone thinks Gregory’s rich and Allison rich so boom.

Obviously. Kenny would want to save his sister, and then he also gets cursed to be immortal?? Just like Thackery!! And Karen is just Emily bc she loves and cares abt her older brother!!

Okay so pip would be Billy bc pip should be dead and also switches up to help Gregory,Christophe and Damien last minute. And Billy’s lovers are Winifred and Sarah and we could totally have pip have Estella as his lover but then she was mad annoying and rude so Rebecca and pip became lovers.

Headcanon for how foreign kids came together !

so first I like to think pip is seen as the leader of the friend group, but he does NOT think he is. he more so sees Gregory or Christophe as the leaders, but they too see pip as the boss bcs he was the one who brought everyone together. (these are all headcanoned btw.. may or may not make comics !)

Christophe and Gregory: for gregory, I would imagine pip was like “your revolution was so neat!” and Gregory was like “heh.. thanks, kid” and Gregory sees pip as a mentor to teach, until he hears from someone was he did on the dodgeball thing, and is convinced pip is more then he lets on. Gregory shows Christophe to pip and pip is like “ew..” bcs he smells, looks, and feels French. Christophe is like “meh” and says hi and sort’ve ignores pip most of the time, but pip is like constantly bothering him, saying “I hate you, frenchie” daily, but is actually rlly interested in Christophe’s digging and whatnot. eventually though pip gives in and asks if he can join Chris in digging. he says sure, happy times.

Estella and Pocket: Estella never joins offically or physically because I like to imagine she stays in England most of the time, but eventually pays a visit as a vacation and then heads back. Pocket moves in for business purposes in the start of high school, which was luckily where pip was. not much explaination bcs they were already friends 2 begin w/

Rebecca and Mark: more like honorary members then offical, but Rebecca and Mark join after the spelling bee episode when pip compliments how smart Mark is. He offers to eat with him at lunch and stuff, which Rebecca comes along. He is, of course, uncomfortable by Rebecca, because in the episode he was kissed by her without asking. She apologizes for what she did, and Phillip forgives her because past is the past.

Loogie: totally one of those achievement secret unlock-able characters from side quests. Pip helped Loogie a bit in his business, and Loogie trusts pip in the business secrets. pip sees Loogie’s business as all an act or a play pretend, but soon is suprised at Loogie’s seriousness in the business. loogie and pip enjoy going to Italian restaurants together to discuss matters (pip yaps about his hyperfixations on ponies)

Cosette: pip met Cosette at the lunchroom when she had no lunch. he offered his entire lunch for her. ever since, he kept making her lunches aswell, even risking his own lunchtime just for her. No, Damien is not apart of this headcanoned friend group. Pip hates Damien because of the fireworks. The rest of the friends likely heard of the story and hate him too.

Cosette appears in season two in the episode "Robert Elbert Should Lay off Fatty Foods", she's there for the Cheesy poofs commercial but Cartman distracts both her and her mother by saying there's bread outside. After that we never see her again.

Hesper foreign kids masterlist, closeups under cut. I'm hoping to get to draw these guys more often.

Gregory Snow- British/Russian. Catholic. Bisexual, GNC- he/him or she/her. Epileptic and autistic.. He likes fencing and considers himself and independent personality. He's the most likely to take a stand against bullies when it comes to others, but seems to fall short when it comes to defending his own honor.

Alejandro- Mexican. Catholic. Bisexual, Sometimes trans (either direction)- usually he/him. Chronic pain in his (camera) right shoulder after being shot as a child, C-PTSD. Alejandro likes boxing and metal music. He's more likely to defend the entire group, including himself. Prefers to follow and gently steer rather than take charge

Baahir Hakeem- Pakistani. Muslim. No labels, he/him. PTSD. He's a slight musical talent, he likes to discuss this with Alejandro and Gregory alike for their juxtaposing interests in the topic. He's a supportive individual and tends to get involved in trouble on accident rather than spearheading it like some of the others. He technically doesn't live in America anymore, but keeps in contact with the club and Butters.

Christophe (The Mole) Fontaine- Mexican/French. Misotheist. Gay Trans male, he/him. C-PTSD and autistic. Enjoys gardening and sewing. Mole is very grounded but has a major paranoia problem, which makes him a surefire director for smaller schemes and tends to be Gregory's right hand. Relatedly, he is a foster sibling to him, as well as Cosette.

Estella Havisham- Doesn't Exist.

Herbert Pocket- Doesn't Exist.

Philip Pirrup- British, Dead. He started the club, and they tend to honor him both on his birthday and the anniversary of his death. He'll always hold a place in their hearts.

Luigi Puzo(Loogie)- Italian(Sicilian). Cishet, he/him. Autistic. He likes geography and classical literature. Weirdly obsessed with teeth, having returned to the mafia business as an older kid but not continuing the teeth racket. He's the most likely to encite the group into trouble and to stir things within the group. He's sort of like their Cartman.

Cosette [ValJean]- French/British. Lesbian, she/them. She likes painting and acting, and is looking into a career in modeling. Like Baahir, she's a very supportive individual. Sometimes the boys are less likely to listen to her, but all around she's respected and treated kindly by them. She and Baahir are close.

Nadia- Romanian. she/her. She's interested in contortion and acrobatics still, but also is a well-spoken figure who likes to give speeches. She doesn't visit America often at all, but is close with Cosette and is on good terms with most of the others.

Charlotte [Maple]- Canadian. Pansexual, she/her. Likely autistic. She's also interested in acting, but is better off managing careers and events. Expert party planner and organizer. She has the sharpest personality out of the girls, demanding change often and being solid enough to sometimes divide the group- though, they often stand together as she can easily replace Gregory's assertive demeanor if she should choose. She finds these kids to be the only ones to take her seriously. Lives in Canada, but visits often.

I believe that the above posters [1] [2] are what would have been hung up in Tlemcen (as mentioned in this article) to advertise this touring production in 1890 because the year is right and the actors & troupe name match.  

On a side note, there was a second production of Les Misérables that toured in Tlemcen in 1902 performed by Doria’s troupe of 16 actors but I haven’t found any more on that

The performance the day before last was not as successful as you have right to expect from a work like Les Misérables and the actors in it.

However, Dumaine (despite being 60 years old), has again shown us the beautiful remnants of his magnificent talent. On the immense and splendid stage of the Porte-Saint-Martin, he had been the incarnation of Jean Valjean as dreamed of and sculpted by Victor Hugo.

[The author goes on to mention Lacressonnière and Talliade as Myriel and Javert (same actors as the Pont-Saint-Martin production of 1878) and a Mme Lacressonnière as Simplice. Fantine and young Cosette are played by Mlles Maljean and  Paioux (sp?), names I don’t recognize. But yeah he doesn’t say anything negative about the actors, I’m just summarizing this part]

Oh well. Despite these diverse and incontestable talents, everyone went home unhappy. I said it. Everyone regretted wasting their money just as much as, and with just as good a good reason, whether they spent one franc or 5.

The conclusion of my article is that it is impossible for the great theater actors to act, even mediocrely, in a work as serious as this one by our great master in a vast gallery on which someone wrote “Municipal theater of Tlemcen.” The room is nice enough but destined for other uses.
